Reptile center

Just a short drive from Foresters Arms, the Eswatini Antivenom and Reptile Centre offers a fascinating and educational experience for all ages. This unique facility is home to a wide variety of indigenous snakes, reptiles, and amphibians, many of which are rarely seen in the wild. The centre plays a vital role in public education and conservation, and is internationally recognised for its work in producing lifesaving antivenom. One of the most intriguing aspects of the centre is how it “milks” venomous snakes in a highly controlled environment—extracting small amounts of venom which are then used in the complex process of creating antivenom. It’s a rare chance to witness science and nature working together to save lives across Africa.
