Foresters Arms is set in spectacular mountain scenery with extensive grounds. Picturesque gardens attract many bird species, including sunbirds, paradise flycatchers and the elusive narina trogan. Cradled amid a forest, it is a haven of timeless elegance, cosy in winter and cool in summer.
The terrace overlooks the gardens and valley and the country atmosphere echoes throughout the hotel in the lounge, restaurant and bar, with charming furnishings, old prints and log fires for chilly evenings. The communal areas feel cosy and old world, with a vibe that is never stuffy.
Assume the best of everything, with spotless bathrooms, locally produced toiletries and unobtrusive mod cons, including telephones, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The exceptional quality of the beds ensures a blissful night’s sleep, waking to a view of the tranquil, colourful gardens.
